Why does the price of the artwork change over time? 2020-10-13T12:49:24-07:00

Because Lisa Kristine Fine Art Limited Editions have a restricted number of prints for each size, demand often outpaces production. As the demand increases for Limited Editions, so does the price. For this reason, it’s a popular option to collect early and guarantee the most competitive pricing.

Do the Limited Edition Artworks come in different sizes?2020-10-13T12:50:16-07:00

Yes, some of the images are available in different sizes to fit your needs. Sizing can be customized in some circumstances to stay within the value of our Limited Editions. For inquiries about sizing, please contact our art specialist at [email protected] or call us at +1(415) 827-4441.

What is a Limited Edition?2022-10-07T11:59:41-07:00

Limited Editions are restricted by a fixed number of prints made for each photograph, meaning that once the edition sells out, no more prints will be made. Lisa Kristine Fine Art Editions come in various sizes. Details on sizes can be found wherever Limited Edition artworks are sold. Lisa Kristine Fine Art Editions come in multiple sizes and are produced in quantities ranging from 10-100 signed prints, plus artist proofs. Inquires can be made by emailing @ [email protected] or calling +1(415) 827-4441.

Once we decide how many prints to make for a Limited Edition, that number is fixed and will not be printed again.

Where are editions produced?2020-10-13T12:54:35-07:00

All Lisa Kristine Fine Art editions are produced at our production studio in California, using only the highest quality imported and domestic materials.

Can I order a custom-sized Limited Edition artwork? 2020-10-06T18:09:13-07:00

Can I frame my artwork? 2020-10-06T18:06:59-07:00

Absolutely! We have a number of hand-crafted options available to you. We have selected a few collector favorites for online purchases and have additional selections available in the gallery.

Do you sell unframed artwork? 2020-10-13T12:59:29-07:00

We recommend that all images be mounted by experienced professionals. Always handle your photograph with the white cotton gloves that are provided. We receommend your photograph is cold mounted. We recommend mounting on a completely smooth, high-quality, dimensionally stable substrate. Please be aware that mounting your photograph on a softer surface like foam core will increase the likelihood of the photograph developing orange peel texture of sorts on the surface.

Please know that if your Lisa Kristine edition is damaged from handling or during the mounting process, Lisa Kristine Fine Art is not liable for the damage or replacement costs. Please only solicit framing and mounting assistance from reputable and insured frame shops.

Is the art signed? 2020-10-13T13:01:44-07:00

Yes. Each Limited Edition artwork features Lisa Kristine’s signature and the print’s edition number on the face of the artwork.

Do you authenticate the artwork? 2020-10-13T13:02:54-07:00

Yes, your Limited Edition Artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity upon request.

How do I hang my artwork? 2020-10-13T13:04:00-07:00

Your Lisa Kristine Fine Art edition has been shipped with the appropriate hanging equipment already attached to the back of the frame. We recommend using picture hangers and/or wall anchors to help further secure your artwork on the wall, but those items aren’t included with your purchase.

How do I clean my artwork? 2020-10-13T13:10:41-07:00

Image Surface

Use caution whenever cleaning the surface glazing of your Fine Art photograph. Gently dust the picture glazing with a high quality soft, damp cloth or chamois. Use light pressure, rinse with clean water, and dry by blotting the cloth.

Do not use window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, or lacquer thinner to clean your image, as this may cause permanent damage to your image.

Our frames should not require care other than periodic dusting. A soft, dry cloth may be used to remove spots or debris. Avoid the use of liquid and chemical cleaning products, as these will deteriorate the frames surface.

How do I light my artwork? 2020-10-13T13:19:33-07:00

How effectively you light your artwork is crucial to the artwork’s overall presentation in your space. Proper lighting techniques use a combination of spotlights and spreads. How far away your light fixture is installed from the photograph will dictate the degree of spread. While several different types of light bulb can adequately light your image, we use LED PAR30 – 1,000 Lumens bulbs at Lisa Kristine Fine Art Galleries. Consult an electrician or lighting professional when considering lighting options for your artwork.
