Stacking

Nepal

A worker stacks bricks as clouds of red dust cascade around him, coating his skin, clothing and the air he breathes. The work is intensely physical and endlessly repetitive, each movement releasing more dust into the air. With little protection, the danger is not only in the weight of the bricks, but in what enters the lungs with every breath.
