Pilgrim – Varanasi

Varanasi, the eternal city, is one of the most important pilgrimage sights in India. Positioned along the sacred Ganges river, Varanasi has been the center of learning and civilization for over 2,000 years. This pilgrim is seen arriving the banks of the Ganges where he will perform a sacred bathing ritual. He had been walking for some days to reach his holy destination.
